Some of the tests that we have done:
Simulator testing. This was done with a trackman and a crew of eager golfers willing to hammer away on the balls and compare them to competitors.
On course testing. Any ball can perform ok in perfect conditions, but it’s a whole different beast out in the real world. That’s why we have put a lot of time on this one. We have hit these balls on sunny days, rainy days, windy days. Full disclosure, we didn’t do it on snowy days, feel free to give it a try and let us know!
Wind resictance testing. Testing the dimple-pattern and how the wind reacts to it to achiev optimal performance.
Durability. Here the enhanced interrogation mentioned before is brough into practice. We gave these balls a beating day and night and with different methods. We let our test-golfers hammer away and slice the NT1° over and over to see how we can improve the Urethane shell to improve durability. This, to ensure that you don’t have to get a new ball after a shortcut through the woods.
With that being said, we originally produced six (6) different variants of the NT1°, with different variations of the construction, how many layers, different materials etc. By taking the best parts of the different variant we have put together the best ball we can muster, the NT1°. NT1° stands for Norderbergs Tier 1 for a reason, even if we eventually develop other balls, this will always be our most premium ball.
The graphs you see on this page shows the average results from our simulator testing where "competitor" is the average of multiple competitors most premium balls, vs the NT1°.
